INGREDIENTS

  • BEEF MIXTURE:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 Onion finely diced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • BIG MAC SAUCE:
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup French Dressing
  • 2 Tbsp Sweet Pickle Relish
  • 1 tsp White Wine Vinegar
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp Onion Powder
  • TO ASSEMBLE:
  • 4 Hamburger Buns with sesame seeds
  • 2 cups Iceberg Lettuce shredded
  • 8-12 Pickle Slices
  • 4 Slices American Cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Brown the ground beef with the chopped onions in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season with the salt and pepper and cook until the beef is fully browned (about 5-7 minutes).  Drain off any excess grease.
  • Mix the Big Mac sauce ingredients together in a bowl.  Stir well to thoroughly combine these ingredients.
  • Mix in 1 cup of the Big Mac Sauce into ground beef mixture in the skillet and save the rest of the sauce for serving.  Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat these ingredients through.
  • Then it’s time to assemble the sandwiches.  Spread the extra Big Mac sauce on the bottom bun, top with the lettuce, cheese, pickles and then a scoop of the meat.
  • Then place the top bun on top.  Serve warm and enjoy!

DORITOS TACO CASSEROLE BAKE

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (1-oz) package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup jarred salsa
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¾ bag Doritos, crushed

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain off fat. Stir in taco seasoning and salsa or tomato sauce, simmer 5 minutes.
  • Press crescent rolls on the bottom of a 9×13 pan lightly sprayed with cooking spray. Press seams to seal. Top crescent rolls with meat
  • mixtures.
  • Spread sour cream over meat.
  • Top with cheese and crushed Dortios.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.

Notes:

Can substitute 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce for salsa.

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce with basil, garlic, oregano
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
  • 8 (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 4½ cups Colby jack cheese, shredded

Instructions 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef. Cook until no longer pink. Drain grease and return beef to skillet.
  • Continue to cook beef until browned. Add garlic paste, onion powder, salt, tomato sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine.
  • In a separate large skillet over medium-low heat, add ½ tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt.
  • Place a tortilla in the skillet. Add cheese, beef mixture, then more cheese to the tortilla. Lay another tortilla on the top and spread butter over the tortilla.
  • Flip the quesadilla over and continue cooking until all of the cheese is melted.
  • Repeat steps for each quesadilla.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 green bell pepper, minced
  • 1/2 large yellow onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar (or less, if you prefer)
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 3/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • dash of hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat butter and oil in large skillet over MED/MED-HIGH heat.  Add beef and brown, breaking apart into crumbles as it cooks, about 5 minutes.  Transfer to colander to drain.
  • Add onion and bell pepper to same skillet and cook 2-3 minutes, until soft.  Add garlic and cook 30 seconds or so, until fragrant.  Add beef back to the skillet and add tomato paste.  Stir well.
  • Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, red pepper flakes (if using), and black pepper.  Stir well to combine.
  • Cook over MED heat for 10-15 minutes, until mixture has thickened to your liking.  Remove from heat and serve over toasted buns.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil divided
  • 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 cups mixed vegetables

Sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Season steak with salt & pepper. Toss with cornstarch and set aside while you prepare the vegetables.
  • Place 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan or wok. Cook the beef in 2 small batches over medium high until browned, about 2-3 minutes (beef does not need to be cooked through). Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Add vegetables to the pan and cook about until tender crisp, 4-5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside with the beef.
  • Combine sauce ingredients except corn starch in a bowl and stir well.
  • Turn the heat up to medium-high and add the sauce. Bring to a simmer. Combine cornstarch with 3 tablespoons water (or broth) and add it the sauce a little bit at a time while whisking to reach desired consistency. Let simmer 2 minutes. Add vegetables, beef (and any juices) to the pan and cook until heated through.
  • Serve with noodles or over rice.
